THE NORTHERN JAGUAR STORY
My Dad had two Jaguar E-Types, a white 61 roadster and a red 4.2 FHC. My brother Tim and I would spend many a weekend in the garages of the Spa Hotel in Ripon with our dad, Keith, while he worked on the two E-Types. At the time, we were cold, bored and would often fall asleep inside or on top of another car. Little did we realise the foundations had been laid for the future.
Moving on 10-years, with Dad and Uncle Tony, we were granted access to the 'Holy Grail' Jaguars scrapyard in the '50s and '60s Stickley's scrapyard in Kenilworth - Coventry. It was hard to believe that heaps of surplus original Jaguar scrap laid untouched for 30+ years at Stickley's just waiting to be discovered, and discover it we did.
